Lullu's Now Here
Ten Years! Yes, times flies when you are having fun.
And, would
you believe it if I tell you that it’s 10
years already for Lullu’s tutto cucina? I am still
enjoying going to work every morning, working with
people and solving some of their problems, and
actually have fun with the store. I
love it even though the economy is not the
greatest but I make the best of it. I am always
thinking and reinventing myself, but I am still
thinking Italian as in pastas, San Marzano
tomatoes, my Italian wines, cheeses, and more.
When I go to work
there is a sense of adventure, a sense of
unpredictability. You never know who is going to
walk through your door and what personal treasure
hunt they are on. I love to think outside the box
to make a customer happy. It is a challenge to end
their search for that special tool that their
grandmother used to have.

Hello everybody;
Boy, am I bad in communicating with you!! BUT I
have a really great (and I don’t mean it as in
wonderful) reason, but I don’t want you to feel
bad for me. OK, if you really want to know…..my
computer crashed so I have been dealing with
that. Yes, I had a “backup” and I don’t need to
go over all of the problems. I am just going to
say that I am looking for volunteers to run over
my computer with their car. Yes, it has been
that bad!!! Anyway, to make my life less
miserable, I have been thinking “what do I
really like to do”? Cooking classes of
course!!!!!
SO HERE ME! And that’s where I come in…..nothing
but comfort foods. I am not talking about
comfort in your wallet, but in your tummy! We
have the January February and March 2012
COOKING CLASS SCHEDULES
ready, but as usual we like to keep some of the
“theme” of the classes open just in case we
change our minds on what to prepare. (You know
how I like to do that!) And, speaking of food,
we have a new line of gluten-free pasta. Yes, I
have tried it and I really love it. You just
have to come to know which one I am talking
about and yes, of course, it is from Italy.
Let me see, what other changes do we have in
store for you (pun intended)? We are still very
actively selling the beautiful
CUSTOM-MADE DESIGNER
APRONS
by Leslie Cramer to ensure that Grant’s therapy
not be interrupted. He was diagnosed at an early
age with a developmental disability. His mother
and grandmother are doing a wonderful job on the
aprons. Even with the computer problem, I do
want to say that I still love my job and very
happy that we passed the 10 year mark. I still
don’t believe it. Christmas sales were better
then I was anticipating and I hope it was the
same for all my retailer and business friends,
but… I also know that it be slowing down so
people can pay their bills. I really appreciate
all of my customers that keep on coming back and
the new ones that “just” discovered me.
